We are currently in the process of drafting our Colchester Community Safety Partnership (CSP) Key Areas of Focus for 2026-27 (to come into effect in April 2026). The partnership works collaboratively to prevent crime, protect vulnerable people, and build resilience.
Essex residents are asked for views on community safety to help the PFCC, police, fire and rescue service and local authorities tackle crime, anti-social behaviour and prevent fires.

As you will have heard on the news, major changes are planned to councils across Greater Essex as part of the largest reorganisation of local government in over 50 years.
