The Festival of Essex Archaeology and Heritage 2025 is happening next Thursday at Cressing Temple Barns. This event is being run by Place Services and Explore Essex at ECC. It is a free event intended to inform people about the heritage of Essex and make them aware of opportunities to get involved if they would like to. There will be exhibitions from borough museums, local heritage societies, and archaeological contractors displaying finds from excavations across the county, among others. There will also be children’s activities such as a scavenger hunt, sandbox metal detecting, and puzzles.
Date: Thursday 24th July 2025
Time: Turn up any time between 10am and 5pm
Location: Cressing Temple Barns
Cost: Free, no tickets needed
