Christmas 2025 Recycling and Waste Collections

• Garden Waste Collections: As in previous years, there will be no garden waste collections for collections normally scheduled from Monday 29 December 2025 until Friday 9 January 2026. This allows crews to focus on collecting Christmas recycling and rubbish. (note Friday 26^th normally scheduled Garden Waste collections will still be collected but on Monday 29^th December)
• Crews usually assigned to garden waste will be moved to other recycling and waste routes to manage the increased tonnage during this time (e.g., cardboard boxes, wrapping paper, plastic, tins, cans, food waste, and general waste).

On the 22, 23 and 24 December, where kerbside collections have been brought forwards, the missed bin service will not be collecting paper and card, plastics, glass, tins and cans. Missed bins will operate as normal for Non Recyclable waste and food. Residents will need to take their dry recycling boxes or bags back in until their next collection date.
