New bench on Malting Green
The Parish Council has today installed a new bench on Malting Green. This will have a plaque celebrating the contribution Mary Anne Hughes MBE has made to the village over 50 years

Many residents have commented that it would be nice to have additional benches on Malting Green. With the retirement of Mary Anne Hughes MBE we have taken the chance to add a bench to Malting Green with a commemoration plaque remembering her contribution to Layer de la Haye over the last 50 years. We plan to add additional benches to Malting Green in the next few months.
