We need your help responding to Speed Strategy and Local Plan
We need your help in getting as many responses as possible to the Essex Safer Speeds Strategy which feeds into the Local Plan consultation. As a Parish Council we receive feedback about speed, antisocial driving and lack of safety walking along roads or across bridges with no footpaths.

The Essex Safer Speeds Strategy consultation will feed into the Local Plan consultation. Like all villages, we have to take more housing with seemingly little allowance made for improved infrastructure to support those additional dwellings. This is our chance to get a strong response in, perhaps we can affect the decision making to get a better result for the village.
As a Parish Council, we are submitting the attached response in reply to the consultation, and will ensure we make strong representations when it comes to the Local Plan too.
Feel free to download the attached template response, amend it as you see fit and then do one of the following:
- Fill in an online survey to make your response at online consultation survey. You can copy the entire text of the template below into question 11 of the survey.
